Within the area, we have both Dall and Stone/Fannin Sheep.
The Fannin Sheep are officially recognized as Stone
Sheep by Boone and Crocket, and these sheep vary in color
from a light gray to very dark. Sheep
hunts are done at elevations of 4,000-7,000 feet.
A legal ram must be full curl or 8 years of age,
however Deuling Stone Outfitters’ policy is that all rams
must be at least 8 years of age regardless of size.
This is a proven management strategy, which ensures
long-term trophy quality rams.
Due to problems with Border Customs Officials trophies will not be separated
